As a Director of Paid Search, Jared works on a variety of accounts – primarily B2B and eCommerce – thinking outside the box to find new ideas to help get clients the results they want. He’s all about the restructure and experiments and trying to cut through all the clutter.

Jared went to school for traditional advertising and fell into digital after he graduated. To be honest, he didn’t know a thing about it! (His words, not ours.) But he quickly developed a liking to it and years later… here he is. Reflecting, Jared feels lucky to have made the switch since advertising as a whole has been moving towards digital very rapidly.

When he’s not working, Jared enjoys working out, writing (poetry and comedy/sketch), video games, hiking, and every day after work you can find him on the jiu-jitsu mats. He’s also a proud founder of the Sasquad – and all he can say about that is it’s a Sasquatch believer group of sorts (which is probably saying too much, so forget you read that).

1. What is your first memory of the Internet?
AOL “Frisbees” aka Free Trial CDs in the mail

2. Favorite lakes memory? What does being on the water mean to you?
Shooting my first firework show a couple years ago on 4th of July. Way more fun than I expected – plus you feel like you’re James Bond when you push a button from 100 feet away and something goes BOOM.

3. How many cups of coffee do you drink per day?
1.5 – paired with a chocolate chip Quest cookie. Never had one? Change that.

4. Most used app on your phone?

5. What’s your karaoke go-to?
Ice Ice Baby — Don’t even need the screen. I ain’t no amateur.

6. What is the most underrated movie of all time?
Definitely not “of all time,” but I Love You, Man (ironically) doesn’t get enough love.

7. What band/artist would you pay $30K to have play in your living room?
Alkaline Trio
